Matthew Modine has worked with many of the film industry’s most respected directors, including, in no particular order, Christopher Nolan, Oliver Stone, Sir Alan Parker, Curtis Hanson, Robert Altman, Alan J. Pakula, John Schlesinger, Robert Falls, Sir Peter Hall, Abel Ferrara, Spike Lee, Tom DiCillo, Mike Figgis, Jonathan Demme, John Sayles,  and Stanley Kubrick, to name but a few.

Modine has been nominated for three Golden Globe Awards “And The Band Played On”, “What The Deaf Man Heard” and Robert Altman’s “Short Cuts” which he won a Best Ensemble Golden Globe for.  Modine played the title character in Alan Parker’s "Birdy" which won the Cannes Film Festival’s Gran Prix Award. Alan Rudolph’s "Equinox" received four Independent Spirit Award nominations including Best Actor for Modine and Best Film. 

He is the recipient of a Venice Film Festival Volpi Cup for “Short Cuts” and the Best Actor Golden Lion Award from the Venice Film Festival for “Streamers”.  Of all his great films, Modine might best be known for his role as Private Joker, the central character of Stanley Kubrick’s critically acclaimed, Academy Award nominated Vietnam War film, “Full Metal Jacket”.

ANN CUSACK - HELENE (The Movie Star)

 

Ann Cusack has carved out an acting career marked by diversity.  She can go from playing a district attorney in “the Informant” starring Matt Damon to David Strathairn’s wife in “The Sensation of Sight”, to an alocohlic mother looking for her son on the CBS television show “Criminal Minds” to an ordinary housewife married to the late Chris Penn in “Brotherhood of Poland, New Hampshire”.  She moves easily from one medium to the next.

 

Her big break came when Penny Marshall cast her in “A League of Their Own” and she hasn’t stopped working since.  Other films include “Accepted” with Justin Long, “What Planet Are You From?” as one of Anette Bening’s best friends, “Multiplicity” with Michael Keaton.  She has shared the screen with her siblings John and Joan Cusack in such films as “Grosse Pointe Blank”, and “American’s Sweetheart” with Julia Roberts and Catherine Zeta Jones.

Her telvision credits include such shows as “Scandal”, “Hart of Dixie”, “Body of Proof”, “Private Practice”, “Harry’s Law”, “The Unit”, “Grey’s Anatomy”, “In Plain Sight”, Brothers and Sisters”,  “Little Britain”, “Army Wives”, “Boston Legal”, “Ghost Whisperer”, “Bones”, “Six Feet Under”, “One Tree Hill”, and “Maggie”.

CLAIRE FORLANI - SILENT LUCIA

 

Claire rose to fame in the cult classic “Mallrats” alongside Ben Affleck and then played Sean Connery’s daughter in “The Rock”. She appeared in “Basquiat” with Gary Oldman, Sam Rockwell, Christopher Walken and Willem Dafoe and starred with Anthony Hopkins and Bradd Pitt in “Meet Joe Black”. 

 

She has had leading roles in a range of film projects in the US and UK including “Mystery Men”, “Anitrust”, “Boys and Girls”, “Hallam Foe”, “Flashbacks of a Fool” and “Green Street Hooligan”.  

She has also appeared in a number of television series including “Camelot”, “The Pentagon Papers”, Stephen Kings “Nightmares and Dreamscapes” and in a recurring role on “NCIS: Los Angeles” and “CSI: NY”.  She has appeared in campaigns for Dewars, L’Oréal, Banana Republic and Dior.

MARAMA CORLETT – PREGNANT LUCIA

 

Marama's first role was in 'The Devil's Double' in 2010 directed by Lee Tamahori. She went on to perform in the West End 2011 production of 'The Children's Hour' directed by Ian Rickson (Jerusalem), opposite Keira Knightley. Marama played 'Rina' in the television drama 'Sinbad' for Sky Atlantic and on SyFy in the US. In 2013/14  Marama will be appearing in feature films 'Desert Dancer' alongside Freida Pinto and 'Maleficent' with Angelina Jolie.
